South Broad Zoning Study web banner

On July 21st 2015, City Council passed a resolution to study the South Broad area (south of Chattanooga Creek) to review zoning options that would better match the community vision and upcoming infrastructure changes. The focus of the study is to recommend zoning that will help facilitate building the more walkable environment and tourism destination that is desired. Additionally, the area should be enhanced in the future with the planned extension of the Riverwalk that is envisioned and coming soon. The Regional Planning Agency staff have been asked to provide a zoning recommendation at the September 14th, 2015 Planning Commission meeting. Please contact 423-643-5901 for more information.
