Bike It and Like It or Rack 'N' Ride

April 2nd - Bike It & Like It Kick-Off
On Wednesday, April 2nd, at 10:30 refreshments will be served and bus
racks demonstration will be held at Cricket Pavilion. During the press
briefing at 11 AM the Mayor Corker will announce Phase I status of the
Bicycle Master Plan. The Mayor will conclude with a ribbon cutting ride of
the newly constructed bicycle facilities. The Mayor, CARTA executives and
the media will be attendance. We would like you there too! On the morning
of this event the Chattanooga Bicycle Task Force will be leading a
Bike To
Work as a rally for the kick-off.
April 5th - Heritage Park Grand Opening
Saturday, April 5th, at Heritage Park - East Brainerd Rd. at Jenkins Rd.
Check-in at 7:00 AM, ride at 8:00 AM.
Grand Opening Ceremony with Mayor Bob Corker at 10:00 AM.
May 3rd - The 3 State/3 Mountain Challenge
Mayor Bob Corker will be Grand Marshall once again for the
3 State/3
Mountain Challenge 100-mile "century" ride. The ride will have 25 and
50-mile options, and will include full support with aid stations along the
route. Hugh Worthy says early and out-of-town registrations are coming in
strongly, and he expects 600 riders will take part in the event.
May 4th - Bicycle & Skate Scavenger Hung
The
Undercover Chattanooga Bicycle & Skate Scavenger Hunt will be a
fun-for-all bicycle (and skate) scavenger hunt that will begin at
Chattanooga Market in the Cricket Pavilion, and end at an undisclosed
destination. Along the way, cyclists and skaters will visit hidden
treasures and less well-known attractions of Chattanooga. At each location
there will be clues, puzzles, and mental mysteries to engage and entertain
while you enjoy a fun 3 hours discovering Chattanooga's less touristy
side. The Adventure Guild
will host this event.
May 10th - Annual RiverPark Bicycle Rodeo

May 31 - June 1 - ChooChoo Challenge
