Call for Public Transit Projects:

Federal Job Access/Peverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom (NF) Program Spring 2008

The designated recipient for Federal JARC and NF Grant funds, Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority, is responsible for conducting a competitive selection process of eligible projects for these transportation funding programs. 

The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency (RPA) and Chattanooga-Hamilton County/North Georgia Transportation Planning Organization have been charged with leading this application and selection process. 

The RPA is issuing a Call for Projects to all appropriate public service transit providers in the Chattanooga-Hamilton County/North Georgia region for project proposals that meet the priorities of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County/North Georgia Public Transit-Human Services Coordinated Plan.
