Safe Routes To School
This is a joint effort of the RPA, UTC, TPO, City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County Transportation Engineering Departments, the National Parks Service, and the Health Department to encourage safe and accessible ways for children to walk and bike to school. This program works towards improving air quality and reducing childhood obesity and inactivity rates both of which are important issues in Hamilton County. A Comprehensive Planning staff member helps to coordinate this effort and set up the meetings.

Signal Mountain Small Area Study
This project has been added to the Transportation Work Program as a Small Area Study. Comprehensive Planning will provide assistance with the land use section of the study.
