Brownfield Grant
The City of Chattanooga was recently awarded an EPA Brownfields Assessment
Grant. The RPA is the lead agency overseeing this project. Yuen Lee from
the Information & Research division of the RPA is the lead planner and
contact. Comprehensive Planning is providing two planners to assist.

Fort Wood Zoning Study
Shepherd Community Zoning Study
Signal Mountain Study
The goal of the study was to explore the possibility of sewer development
and subsequent land development that meets the mission of the Town of
Signal Mountain. With the possibility of a sewer extension to the
Shackleford Ridge Rd. area, options for growth in that area were developed
and staff assisted with the codification of new zoning codes. This project
was completed in March, 2006.
South Broad Zoning Study
Miller Drive Zoning Study
This study was requested by City Council to address the residential street
that serves as an entrance to the Brainerd Town Center. The study was
approved by the Planning Commission in June and by the City Council in
July, 2006.
Cannon Avenue Zoning Study
This study was requested by City Council on June 20, 2006 to rezone an
area from R2 to R1.
